HOSTARIA DELL'ORSO

Hostaria dell'Orso is famous for its cook Gualtiero Marchesi. Try one of Gualtiero's signature dishes, for example "Riso Ore e Zafferano", "Raviolo Aperto" or "Filetto alla Rossini Secondo Gualtiero Marchesi".
It is the oldest hostaria of Rome, built during the late 1400s. Located near Piazza Navona, one of Rome's most beautiful squares, this restaurant is a great piece of Roman history and was recently fully restored to its former glory. Also located in the building are a piano bar and even a night club. However strange this might seem strange at first glance, consider this is one of Rome's most exclusive spots, where the Roman stars of the Dolce Vita regularly visit.

INTERNATIONAL WINE ACADEMY

A Roman palazzetto from the year 500, right on the Spanish Steps, with many of the original features from Roman times. No wonder director Bernardo Bertolucci chose this building on Vicolo del Bottino as a backdrop for his film Besieged in 1998. Roberto Wirth, owner of the nearby Hotel Hassler, found the perfect use for this place. He established the International Wine Academy of Rome here. It offers all kinds of courses, from a simple masterclass to an intensive week with renowned viticulturists. There are lecture halls, a library and four beautiful rooms where you can sleep off a hangover.
