THE TRAVELER
This video shows some beautiful shots during Le Grand Alps route. With some really nice mountainviews and all the nice things the Alps provide. It captures some struggling bikers that climb up the mountains in perfect weather conditions.
Why this video is about bikers and their bicycles? Well.. Because of a new collaboration between Cicli Maestro, an Milan based bicycle company, and Travelteq. An authentic bike, with leather handlebars and a Brooks leather saddle called The Traveler. Ready to cruise the street!

TRAVEL LOGIC #5
In this edition I want to share a iPad magazine with you. The guys over at Unlike City Guides have teamed up with the Avant/Garde Diaries to release an iPad magazine.

The simple and sleek app includes an interactive map, which allows you to explore all the featured restaurants, stores and bars, as well as the creative people behind them. Nice small articles with good photography and some supported with video.

It’s really nice to read and being informed while using the iPad with its visual opportunities. They are currently developing the new iphone app, but you can already use it on android devices.

INK AND PAPER
A short film about two independent craftsman that provide tools for artisans. It's a sad story because of the change of economics. They can just keep their heads above water in these turbulent times. A paper maker and a printer that do it oldschool. Hopefully this kind of crafts will never vanish. Support your local craftsman. Watch their story here.

SMITH JOURNAL
This week I was walking with a good friend of mine through Amsterdam and stopped by a very nice little new shop. Inside they were displaying the first issue of Smith Journal. An Australian made magazine that's really an eye catcher. After the first pages we wanted to read the whole thing. Perfectly designed, nice selection of topics, beautiful photography and it felt like a real journal.

These boys have their own chocolate factory!
Sometimes a video really gets you, especially when it's about a specific craft and ideology. The Mast Brothers with their passion for chocolate understands it and are living for the cacoa beans.
